Some of the most common questions I get from clients and students are about their path or their purpose for this life such as: What should they be doing? Are they doing it? How can they do it better? Have they missed anything? The answers are as varied as the individuals but they tend to sort themselves into a few general categories. There are those who have reached a crossroads and feel like now is a good time to evaluate putting energy into manifesting their dreams. There are some who have come to a breaking point where they can’t wait any longer to do what they are meant to do. Doing everything else has pretty much broken them and they are going to collapse from burnout and exhaustion and emotional distress if they don’t make a change. There those who have come to a dead end, everything they’ve tried has lead them to a place where they don’t know what else to do. The only option they have left is to try something wild like actually following the calling of their heart. And still others who get handed the opportunity of a lifetime to follow their dreams and just need validation they are on the right track.
I’m just glad they are asking the questions and thrilled to be able to support them all in heading in their unique directions. The more of us doing what we came here to do, the better off we all are. Go team! However, there is one category I have such empathy for while at the same time I just have to shake my head mentally. These are the group who give 200% of themselves at all times, having no time for themselves at all, running to keep up with everything, and yet they feel the call to find their purpose, to do what they came here to do and they would like to add this to everything else they have going on. For some they feel this might be like a magic “Get Out Of Jail Free” card which makes everything better somehow. For others they feel they should be able to do all these things and it’s their own weakness which makes it hard to do. :/ Others are confused why their lives are so busy doing fulfilling things and yet they are so empty therefore they are seeking to find something which will fix the situation. Unfortunately they are looking at this as one more thing to do, yet somehow this will be the key to making everything make sense.
