We are the Akashic Conduit

How we manifest in this chaotic world.
I talk about manifesting a lot. I mean a lot. Not just a noticeable amount which is a blip in the rolodex of topics I spin through when I’m working with clients. I blog about it, I deal with it personally, I talk about it with friends, it’s a large part of the classes I teach, and it shows up in my weekly teaching newsletter. Not because it’s a topic most people are interested in, although there’s that, but because it’s a major reason why we’re here on the planet. I mean, why go through all the trouble of putting on a meat suit, having to deal with this whole growing up thing, puberty, mortgages, car insurance and the things which happen making car insurance a good idea, trying to figure out whether to buy a crappy hamburger or a lottery ticket with those last $2 before payday. Why would we sign up for all this if we’re not meant to be doing something here? Well, as Walt Whitman says, “That you are here — that life exists, and identity; That the powerful play goes on, and you will contribute a verse.”
Now most of the time when people talk about manifesting, about making a difference in the world, what their purpose is in this life, they are talking about the big things. All of these movies and novels and comic books and TV shows have us geared to want to be like Super Heroes or X-Men. To have one courageous and outrageous gift or purpose and to sacrifice everything for it. What I point out to my clients is a) this is dramatic license which is great for storytelling within a limited time frame format and has nothing to do with real life, b) sacrificing everything for a goal rarely works out even for characters in stories let alone for normal people, c) most super heroes are miserable bastards who are terrible partners, get all of their loved ones killed, and have poor social skills. Yes, we all want to feel we are important and have a purpose, but these are not the role models to be emulating. Enjoy them on the big and small screens and then come back to the rich tapestry of reality where manifestation is not about saving people from destruction, but creating a flourishing life.
So one of the first things to keep in mind is manifesting isn’t about just the big things, it’s about all things. Our entire being in embodied life is about manifesting. Our bodies are continuously manifesting new…
